Full-Time Patient Services Administrator
Fantastic opportunity for a Patient Services Administrator to join our team.
Full Time: 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday, Surgery opening hours 8am – 6:30pm with flexibility to cover holiday and sickness.
What we look for in your application:
• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• IT skills (Knowledge of SystmOne would be advantageous however full training is provided)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills; dealing with patients in a conscientious and empathetic manner keeping positive, friendly, calm and be comfortable in reassuring and dealing with worried, anxious, and often unwell patients.
• Positive and proactive approach to work, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Experience of working in a team and using your own initiative
• Ability to abide by strict confidentiality and information governance compliance and the responsibility this brings.
Duties include face to face contact with patients, actively signposting patients to the most appropriate clinic or clinician, telephone duties and a wide variety of patient related tasks to support our clinical team. Candidates must be flexible to cover annual leave and absence as directed by the Patient Services Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting with the ordering and receiving of medication deliveries
• Managing administrative tasks to support the efficient functioning of the dispensing process
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring proper documentation of deliveries
• Liaising with suppliers and internal staff to ensure smooth workflow
Ideal Candidate:

Part-Time Healthcare Assistant
Fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team.
As a Healthcare Assistant, with proven healthcare experience in an acute or community environment, you will assist with the delivery of patient care. Providing support to health care professionals within a multi-disciplinary team, working under the supervision of the clinician and within the group parameters of practice.
Hours: 16 hours per week. Salary is negotiable/depends on experience.
Main duties of the job As someone who can work with autonomy, you will apply your skills and knowledge to the following clinical areas of responsibilities:
• Phlebotomy skills
• ECG recording
• Experience and knowledge in wound-care
• Removal of sutures and staples
• Monitoring of the patient on anti-coagulation treatment using INR* software
• Deliver Vaccinations under PSD and support from trained professionals – deliver Flu vaccine, Pneumonia vaccines and B12 injections.
• Undertaking specific clinical activities for named patients within your own skillset.
• Assisting in the assessment and surveillance of patients’ health and well-being
• Chaperoning duties
• Knowledge of System 1 templates to undertake nursing assessments and Long-Term Condition reviews Clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms.
• Processing and management of laboratory samples requested by GPs/nurses.
• Vaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring and recording
• Surgical equipment and vaccine re-stocking and stock rotation
• Preparing and maintaining environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions, including assisting GPs during the performance of minor operations
• Support the medical and nursing team throughout the day.

We are part of a well-established PCN therefore are also able to offer, first contact physiotherapists, a mental health practitioner and RISE (social empowerment) team.
We are also a teaching practice for medical students.
